Newsletter was produced by the Friends of the Library as a way to promote the activities, needs and interests of the University of Waterloo Library. Edited by Friends of the Library board members, the newsletter was published from 1990 to 1997.
The University of Waterloo Bibliography is a collection of titles about the University of Waterloo including speeches, promotional material and feature articles that were published in newspapers, periodicals and trade publications. Established in the early 1990s by Jane Britton, it was actively maintained until 2008. A complete listing of the titles held in the collection can be found in the University of Waterloo Library catalogue.
For Your Information was an occasional newsletter published by the University of Waterloo Library to communicate new development, future plans and events of general interest pertaining to the Library. Edited by a rotating series of Library staff, with assistance from Esther Millar, the first newsletter was released in 1990. The majority of the issues that followed were published between 1994 and 2000.
First published as the University of Waterloo Quarterly Report (December 1959-March 1966) the newsletter provided an overview of news related to the University of Waterloo including staff hires, administrative changes, student life and campus expansion(s). Changed in 1966 to the name University of Waterloo Quarterly (June 1966-March 1969), the newsletter remained in circulation until 1970, ending it's run as Quarterly (September 1969-September 1970).
Starsongs was a fanzine produced by the University of Waterloo Science Fiction Club (WatSFIC). Edited by WatSFIC membership the fanzine consisted of four volumes released between winter 1976 and summer 1978. Today the club operates under the name University of Waterloo's Science Fiction, Fantasy, and Gaming Club.
The Maker was a periodical produced by the Federation of Students (FEDS). Edited by FEDS membership the monthly publication was open to anyone wishing to contribute articles, poetry, photography or art and was produced from February 1973 to April of the same year.
The WCF Stuff was a weekly publication produced by the Waterloo Christian Fellowship. Edited by Dave Horne the newsletter was published from January 5, 1989 to March 30, 1989.
B. S., short for Bi-Weekly Science, was a bi-weekly engineering paper initially published under the title Newsweakly. The intent and print run of the paper is unknown.

Bullseye was published by the Federation of Students between 1976 and 1977 as an interim publication during the closure of The Chevron to provide information to the campus community. The Sphere was a quarterly newspaper published by members of the Arts Student Union (ASU) between 1993 and 1996. It was produced in response to calls for a new publication to fill the gap left by the former ASU newspaper, Arts Lion, which was published during the 1980s. Featuring news items, reviews and creative writing, the newspaper was intended for as a means of communication throughout the Arts Faculty.
Math Medium was first published in 1968 by the Math Society as a newsletter intended to "be a happy blend of humour, serious news reports, slander, and general trivia." Operating under the slogan "A newspaper of its time," Math Medium was initially published every two weeks except in December, April, May, June, July and August before changing to sporadic publication in 1969. Math Medium was followed by Math News, which launched in 1973.
