The Women's domestic work advertisements collection consists of advertisements, primarily from the Victorian era, showing the role of women in the household and the defining gender roles of the period. Also included are 4 items from the mid 20th century that speak to the changing and expanding role of women at the time. Women's roles videos
The Women's roles videos collection contains digitized silent film reels, which portray women in various domestic and working roles. Each film is accompanied by a description created by students in the Fall 2017 session of Women's Studies 101 as part of a class project to make the films more accessible.
