Abstract: 71-04-06_008 appeared in a loose photo album part of the Dr. Donald Dr. Cowan fonds [GA165-8-167] with the following caption: "CARD READER. Once the programme is punched on cards, the card deck is read by a card reader which decodes the pattern of holes in the cards. The card reader reads up to 1,000 cards per minute and transfers the information in the form of electrical impulses to the computer."
