This souvenir album is almost an exact duplicate of Souvenir of Berlin published in ca. 1914 (F21582). The notable difference is the album's reflection of the 1916 name change of Berlin to Kitchener as a result of anti-German sentiment during the First World War. In recognition of the name change, the original cover was replaced with new one featuring Kitchener's city crest and the factoid page sub-title “Breezes about Kitchener” was pasted over the former sub-title “Breezes about Berlin” .
