Photo caption from missing photo [no suitable substitute]: "HONOR MEEKER, SCHNURR - Prior to the game between Kitchener ad London last night, two members of the Kitchener team, Howie Meeker and Bobbie Schnurr, were honored for outstanding achievements in hockey circles. J.P. Van de Water, Canadian Legion president, is show above as he made the presentation to Schnurr. Meeker is shown at left. Meeker was named the outstanding rookie in the N.H.L. last season while Schnurr was voted the most valuable player in the Eastern United States Hockey League. Some 1,300 fans were present."
