Watson Christmas Party [Unpublished]
Photo caption from published photo: "BRIGHT CHRISTMAS - Thanks to the kindness of Twin City and district folk, Nancy and Sandra Watson had a happy Christmas. The children and their mother, Mrs. Rose Watson, were left in a plight two months ago when Alex Watson, a thrice-wounded army pensioner, was killed. Recently the family's bleak prospects were outlined in The Record and the result was more than $1,200 in cash donations and gifts to ensure a happy holiday for the family. Shown are (left to right) Mrs. Watson; Sandra, 8; Nancy, 5, as Santa Claus paid a special visit to their home."
