During the winter his activities take him to Victoria Park for skating. He also attends many hockey games and with a small radio is able to keep track of the game. In the summer he swims and dives at the Kitchener swimming pool. This spring he intends to take up golf. He is shown (left to right) [see 54-5625_003 for closest version] putting on his skates unassisted; skating with his partner, Mrs. Erwin Kueneman [54-5625_004]; trying the smooth ice alone [54-5625_001], and talking with Nick Lang [no suitable substitute in envelope], who arrived in Canada from Germany only six months ago, about skating in Germany. Observance of White Cane Week will start tomorrow in conjunction with the Canada-wide program emphasizing the problem of the blind.
