Thousands lined the street to witness the procession. The Dominion Rubber Co. float, left [missing from envelope, no suitable substitute], depicting better products through research, was adjudged the best in the parade. Oscar Busch, center [missing from envelope, no suitable substitute], a clown with a live goose, brought many a laugh from the crowd as he and the bird mingled with spectators. The best combination union and company entry was that of the Goodrich Local 73 with a western float, shown at right [47-575_001].
