They consist of speaking notes from a 1956 talk at Rhodes University, candid observations about people affiliated with Fleur de Lys farm, and research regarding trade unions in Tanganyika, now Tanzania, with a particular focus on the Tanganyika Federation of Labour and labour activists including [Bruno] Mpangala, [Rashidi Mfaume] Kawawa, and [J.B.A. Ohanga].
